| Ok, this is the situation. I have been enjoying the hospitality of Key Biscayne for a while now, waiting for a reasonable weather window to appear. As some of you know I have made my final farewells about a half dozen times now. My stay here has not been unpleasent. Cocunut Grove is a great city. The weather gods are currently bestowing a nice weather window for early Saturday morning. I plan on heading south again to a different offshore inlet and jump off point (angelfish Creek) which should provide a more "sailable" angle for the Natie M. If aforementioned gods are so inclined as to actually follow through, i will be heading over to Cat Key or Bimini at that time, finally crossing the Gulf Stream. If the window once again closes, or fails to appear, its gonna be either check out the Keys, maybe Cayman Isl. or joining the local Carmen Miranda Men's Dance troup in Coconut Grove. mark |
Hi Mark, Chuck Jones here (ex Corvette Association general manager and office boy)
ReplyDeleteHope the weather holds for you.
There is Corvette on it’s way south from our Yacht Club here in Trenton Ontario. She is call ChimoII Dave & Linda aboard. If you run into them say hello for me. I am not sure where they are but I believe they are in Florida and are going to cross to the islands.
You might also run into Off Call a Ticon 30 from our Yacht Club. They are on their way back up from down south. They are in St Thomas VI at the moment and expect to be in Myrtle Beach in March.
