N25 25.482 w77 50.085 Hi! Sitting outside a little restaurent/marina thats closed. Cold beer so close! Anyway crossing was great, but not as impressive as crossing the Grand Bank. Out of sit of land for most of the day and night all in water that is only 12 feet deep or so and crystal clear. Then when you get to the NOrthwest passage the depth drops to 2000 feet in less than a mile. It was like flying over fields of grass and sand then deep blue water like saphire. Made it to Andros, MOrgans Bluff for clearing in, then today crossed back over to Berry islands. Anchored just south of Chub Key. Tomorrow with forcasted north wind might head down to Nassau or Exumas if I have wind and time. Low pressure front after low keeps coming down from your latitude! Mark |
